Multi-day, self-supported, and fully loaded, the Deva 80L Pro Backpack handles it all
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I have been using the Deva 80L Pro Backpack on guided expeditions and extended self-supported trips where the load is heavy and the days are long, and the FreeFloat A3 suspension system genuinely delivers a level of comfort under serious weight that most packs at this capacity cannot come close to. The auto-rotating shoulder harness moves naturally with your stride so the pack stops fighting your body on rough terrain, and the AirCushion backpanel keeps ventilation working even when the pack is loaded to capacity.”
The list of gear for a self-supported multi-day expedition is long, and the pack that carries it needs to be up to the challenge without making the first ten miles feel like a test of willpower. The Gregory Deva 80L Pro Backpack was engineered for exactly that mission, pairing maximum capacity with a suspension system sophisticated enough to make a fully loaded pack feel like an extension of your body rather than a burden on top of it.
The FreeFloat A3 dynamic suspension system is the heart of the Deva 80L Pro, using flex panels and auto-rotating shoulder straps that move with the natural mechanics of your stride rather than resisting it. The proprietary AirCushion backpanel is constructed from mesh with over 90% open-air structure, eliminating pressure points and wicking moisture away from your back through long days on trail. A perimeter alloy frame with fiberglass anti-barreling cross-stay manages heavy loads with structural integrity, and a ComfortGrip lumbar pad prevents pack slip without needing to over-tighten the hipbelt. Nine external pockets, a floating top lid, SideWinder bottle holster, Sunglass QuickStow, oversized zippered hipbelt pockets, and a bottom sleeping bag compartment with removable divider give you the organizational depth that a serious expedition demands. All suspension components are treated with Polygiene Stays Fresh Technology, and the pack body is built from partially recycled nylon with PFAS-free DWR throughout.
